With up to 39 inches of unobstructed ingress/egress, SlideRail™ provides two secure touchpoints for patients getting in and out of bed. The adjustable handholds are flexible to accommodate patient size and mobility, while helping support protocols to reduce the risk of caregiver injury when moving or adjusting patients.

Precision Control for Enhanced Safety

Featuring PowerBrake™, caregivers can easily set Essentia™ to brake, steer or remain neutral with the press of a button — from three different locations on the bed. And with AutoLock™, the brakes will lock after sixty seconds whenever the bed is plugged in — enhancing patient safety by keeping the bed from moving.

360 Degrees of Obstruction Detection

MotionStop 360™ provides 360-degree obstruction detection coverage around the base of the bed frame and stops the bed from lowering if an obstruction is detected, then reverses upward to offload the obstruction quickly – helping to prevent injuries or damage to other equipment.

Flexible Bed Length — With the Push of a Button

The electric powered extendable length — accessible from either the footboard or head-end siderails — helps caregivers easily customize the bed for patients, extending from 80 to 88 inches and stopping anywhere in between.

A gentle, adjustable nightlight is available under the bed, illuminating the path for patients when they exit the bed in low lighting.

Two options to quickly return the bed deck to a flat position — manual and electric CPR release.

Auxilary Outlets

Auxiliary outlets are located at the head and foot ends of the bed, adding convenience when needing to power additional bed-related equipment.
