The Endocare Cryocare CS system consists of a compact, easy-to-operate console and associated accessories that include Endocare cryoprobes to deliver cold temperatures to the therapeutic tissue and Endocare TempProbe™ Devices to monitor temperatures in the surrounding tissue. The system includes the CryoGuide™ Planning System – an intraoperative, realtime guidance and planning system that identifies and guides cryoprobe and TempProbe device placement. An ultrasound system is included with available transrectal ultrasound probe for real-time prostate imaging.
The ultrasound probe operates in B, Power Doppler, Color Doppler (including directional and non-directional Power Doppler), and Harmonic Imaging. The transrectal probe is capable of transverse and sagittal views. The Cryocare CS System can control up to eight, single-use, disposable cryoprobes and monitor up to eight independent TempProbe™ devices.
